Heavy-Duty Racks with Plywood: Solving Non-Palletized Heavy Load Storage Needs
A Japanese company, a comprehensive firm mainly engaged in energy supply and logistics equipment manufacturing with business covering multiple fields, aims to further strengthen its supply chain network in Southeast Asia.
To enhance the response speed of cargo storage and circulation for enterprises while reducing intermediate costs of cross-border logistics, it plans to build a new warehouse center in Thailand and purchase a batch of heavy-duty shelving simultaneously. This initiative is intended to meet the diverse storage needs of bulky goods, industrial raw materials, etc., and lay a foundation for subsequent business expansion.
ORION's baseline plan was as follows:
Load-Bearing Design: Based on the maximum weight per cargo location is 1000kgs, the load-bearing capacity per layer is designed to be 2000kgs;
Dimensional Specifications: The height of the shelf columns is designed to be 5300mm, and the width is 2500/1300mm. The layer spacing can be adjusted by 50mm;
Support Beam Configuration: Each layer is equipped with 4 pcs support beams to enhance load-bearing stability;
Wooden Board Addition: To adapt to more non-standard cargo and protect both the cargo and the shelves, one wooden board is added to each layer;
Safety Protection Design:To prevent cargo from falling and strengthen safety protection, a back net is added.
